Regional Sales Manager - Dallas

The opportunity

Reporting to the VP, Sales, we need a Regional Sales Manager to create a name for us in Dallas and the South West. This is a growth opportunity for someone who can lead a sales team, optimize performance, build a strategy and execute a business plan to meet sales goals. This is a chance for someone who wants to step up to the challenge of generating revenue growth, improving efficiencies and building out sales processes through hands-on leadership.

Who you are

You are a data-driven, analytical, methodical sales leader with a passion for building territory and managing people. You have experience selling into or out of the manufacturing or building products industry with the hard skills to sell and the soft skills to build relationships. You are ready to focus on driving the growth and success of team, pushing them to be the best and exceed their goals. You treat sales as a team event; creating strategies, removing barriers and motivating team results.

Here’s what we need from our new Regional Sales Manager; someone who can:

  • Set the bar high and lead by example. You will:
    • Organize and execute a business plan to set new territory sales goals and identify new customer needs.
    • Build relationships in the region, targeting builders who should be using IKO products.
    • Leverage key relationships to create new business opportunities.
    • Review and approve all contractor/builder spiffs or programs.
    • Do whatever it takes to drive growth in your territory.
  • Coach the team of field reps. You will:
    • Build a short- and long-term strategy to take the team to the next level.
    • Mentor and support field reps in development areas.
    • Organize and arrange regional sales meetings and training functions for sales region.
  • Be the person to manage the day-to-day operations. You will:
    • Manage, review and approve numbers, reports, credits and billing for each field rep within the region.
    • Oversee the administration of the team, from attending meetings and company-provided training to hiring and managing performance.

  • A proven success record. You consistent deliver performance through your team.

The confidence in our products and our company just makes it all the easier for you to guide and coach your team.
  • An education. You have a 4-year Bachelor’s degree (preferred), outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.
  • A charismatic personality. You can engage contractors, builders and executives in property management about the benefits of moving to our products. You are equally engaged with your team and can deliver results through people.
  • A sales methodology and innovation. You are meticulous and extremely numbers oriented. You are a strategist. You believe in following a process because it works and changing it up when it doesn’t.
  • A clean driving record. You will be travelling extensively throughout your territory.
